Delete your FindMe account
You can permanently delete your FindMe account and associated data from the app or request deletion by email if you no longer have access.
Delete in the app
Open FindMe, go to Profile, open Settings, and select Delete account. Re-enter your current password and type DELETE. FindMe stops active sharing and deletes the Firebase account after backend cleanup succeeds.
Request deletion without the app
Email osipidisgeorge@gmail.com from the address registered to the FindMe account with the subject “FindMe account deletion request”. State that you want the account permanently deleted. Do not send your password, location, identity documents, or session details by email. FindMe may send a limited verification message before acting.
What is deleted
Deletion removes the account, profile and photos, relationships, groups, invitations, templates, device registrations, current location and navigation state, chat messages authored by the account, safety reports involving the account, and related active-session references. Permission-history references held by other users are anonymised as “Deleted account”. The short location lease can remain technically visible for no more than about 45 seconds if a device is offline when deletion begins.
- Deletion is irreversible.
- Requests are normally completed without undue delay and within one month after verification.
- Providers may retain limited backups, security logs, or service data where required by their terms or applicable law.
